PROCESS FOR OUR TRAINING PROGRAMS

SOME TRAINERS MAY NOT HAVE THESE REQUIREMENTS, BUT WE HOLD OURSELVES TO A HIGHER STANDARD.

Here at Critical Canine, we require a fecal float prior to allowing any dogs into our facility. A fecal float tests for Roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and microscopic intestinal parasites (like coccidia and Giardia) are relatively common in pets, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t cause serious illness. Young, sick, or debilitated pets can even die if they are heavily infected with parasites. If your pet has parasites, accurate diagnosis, including identification of the parasite(s) present, is important to determine the best treatment and help ensure a full recovery. Fecal diagnostic tests, such as fecal flotation and Giardiatesting, are an important part of this process. As well as a fecal float, full updated vaccination records.

REST ASSURED KNOWING YOUR DOG IS BEING LOVED AND CARED FOR BY INDUSTRY EXPERTS!

We understand this can be a stressful transition at the beginning of our programs for the dogs and families. And can occasionally cause a loss of appetite or even an upset stomach for the dog during the first few days. If this happens, we notify the family within the first 24 hours. From there, we supplement in Origins 5-in-1 or Pumpkin Pro, canned food. It’s all depending on the issue at hand. Rogue Pet Science is a local company we stand by wholeheartedly. They make a whole line of products we keep on hand ranging from the pumpkin pro, Tumeric pro, Origins 5-in-1, Origins Healthy Weight Gainer, and so many more.

LET US BE YOUR DOGS HOME AWAY FROM HOME!

Our training’s performed in a home setting, which allows us to replicate and mimic their regular environment. As well as allowing to ensure staff is around 24/7. At the beginning of our training program, we utilize many sterile (minimal distraction, safe space) training environments to create a clear and consistent foundation. And from there, once the foundation is clear, we start to implement distractions and new environments at their pace. Training here is a marathon, not a sprint. And as such, is why we don’t use fear, physical force, pain, or intimidation to create lasting and life-altering results. All of our training programs are for the benefit of the dogs and families.

QUALITY OF CARE IS THE CORNERSTONE OF THE WORK WE DO!

Here at Critical Canine, we pride ourselves on our quality of care and our commitment to ensuring that quality of care. As well as constantly improving and investing back into our operation, ensuring we can stay current with the highest standards. We do not believe in cutting corners in training so, we don’t cut corners when it comes to our facilities. We are an avid supporter of Ruff Land Kennels and vouch for the kennel quality. So much, we have outfitted our entire kennel with them. As well as our vehicles to be used to safely transport dogs. They are the safest and most rigid crates on the market. We use these to safely kennel dogs when they are not actively training. Or being handled or out for a potty and play session.
